Innovating Communities is a training and mentoring project designed to empower local people and groups to work together and address Challenges facing their areas in Donegal, Leitrim, Sligo, Cavan, Monaghan and Louth.
Students are introduced to the concept of sustainability and what it means. They will then discuss global sustainability issues with a focus on the impact on people, animals and habitats. Students actively engage in analysing sustainability from different viewpoints and explore ways in which both communities and individuals can lead more sustainable lifestyles.
Each Student will get a chance to:
- Drive a Vehicle with a Qualified Instructor
- Change Wheels Safely
- Experience ‘Beer Goggles’
- Use Sat Navigation Systems
- Practice Theory Test
- Buying & Taxing a Vehicle
- Green Energy Module
- Road Safety Module
- Basic Mechanics & much more…
