Pictured above are the St Patrick’s College Parents Association with Mr Alan Beatty (3rd from left back row) National Floral Demonstrator who gave a most entertaining, informative and imaginative display/demonstration in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan on Dec 10th.
All funds raised on the night, through Alan’s displays , the sale of Christmas cards of the College facade and raffle tickets, go towards the continued instalment of IT software and hardware in classrooms in the college.
To date the Parents Association have funded the provision of data digital projectors in twenty classrooms in the College as well as upgrading the computer room.

Cavan Parish Drugs Awareness recently ran an awareness programme for students of St Patrick’s College. Pat’s Factor returned to St Patrick’s College, Cavan on December 4th to a SOLD OUT show. As with the first Pat’s Factor show held last May1st , this years show proved to be equal to last May’s show and proved that St Patrick’s College has many more fledging performers waiting in the sidelines. Congratulations to Ms Marie Henry and her hard working student committee for this fantastic adeventure.
Josh and Precious were the proud winners of this years Pat’s Factor 2009-10. Precious was one of last years Pat’s Factor participants with a riviting Beat Box routine. This year he returned with accompanist Josh Mc Clorey on accoustic guitar.
Last years winners Tungsten and the Light Bulbs got Pat’s Factor off to a roaring start.
The projects produced some fine music on the night which reflects the professionalism this group of musicians take their music making.
