The Guidance Counsellors in St Patrick’s College Cavan endeavour to create a safe, caring and supportive environment for our students. We help our students to make informed choices in the personal, social, educational, and vocational areas of their lives. There are two Guidance Counsellors in St Patrick’s College: Ms Marie Henry and Mr Edward O’Callaghan

The Guidance Counsellors engage with students from First to Sixth Years in a variety of ways. We also work with the incoming First years through our mentor system to ensure a smooth transition into Secondary School. We work closely with our colleagues in the school as well as with parents/guardians/Parents Association  and outside agencies to support our students. We appreciate the enormous contribution of past students who return to the school to share their experiences and offer advice.
